The Sixth Tail Reading Comprehension Worksheet gives third graders an original short story about a boy named Preston who counts a family of red foxes behind his school shed every morning. The custodian tells him six kits were born, but Preston can only ever find five. The story is written at a third-grade reading level, and every question on the sheet can be answered straight from the text.
