How to teach Plot
Using Beginning Middle End Plot Activity, students describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action.
As your students read, they need to be able to follow the structure of the book. This activity helps support your students as they read a text from beginning to the end.
Students read A Day at the Amusement Park and then, match events in the story to when they occurred. Then, students can read any story and use the Rollercoaster Plot Chart to track the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
