Using Describing Characters Beginning Middle and End Activity, students describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action.
As your students read, they need to be able to follow the structure of the book. This activity helps support your students as they read a text from beginning to the end.
Students will read ‚ÄúPicky, Picky, Picky!‚Äù and describe the main character Patty’s traits and feelings to explain the sequence of events. Students can continue to practice using the graphic organizer as they read any text.
