This Now Presenting! Report on a Topic Activity is a fun way for students to learn about Summarizing and presentations!
Your students can use this fun activity to learn about summarizing and presenting.
With this activity, your students can work independently or with a partner to report on a topic, text. They could also use this activity to recount an experience in an organized manner. Whatever your students choose to report on, they should use appropriate facts and relevant, descriptive details to support main ideas or themes. Students will use the notes page to plan their presentations. This activity is a great way to introduce presentation skills your students will need in the upcoming years of middle and high school education. Once students have finished, challenge them to write a narrative using our Sequence Writing Graphic Organizer Worksheet.
