Description

How to teach Place Value

Using Place Value Party Place Value Activity, students build four digit numbers using a place value chart to build their number sense skills.

Understanding the value of each digit of a number helps your students build their number sense. This activity gives them practice with finding the value of a three digit number.

Shuffle the number cards. Then, draw four numbers and place them on the work mat in any order. Use the base-ten cards to build the number.
