Being aware of text features is an important step for your students. This activity will teach them about the most prominent text features that they will find in their books.
Match the text features to their definitions. Then, students will use the Text Features Scavenger Hunt book to cut out and paste examples of text features in non-fiction work as well as describe how the text feature supports their reading.
