This Rhyming Words Cut and Paste Worksheet gives first grade students a hands-on way to hear and see three word families at once: -en, -ot, and -am. Six word cards sit at the bottom of the page, and three labeled family columns wait above them. Students cut out each card, say the word aloud, listen for the ending sound, and paste it under the rime it rhymes with. Because every word belongs to exactly one family, a child can check the work without a teacher standing by.
The sheet is built for independent work and for little hands. The cards are large, the dashed cut lines are easy to follow, and each paste box is bigger than the card that goes in it, so a slightly crooked cut still lands cleanly. The words are short, decodable, and printed big enough to read across a table. A complete answer key is the second page, showing every card already pasted in its column.
