Using Subtraction Within 5 Activity, students solve single digit subtraction problems to build subtraction fact fluency.
Your students need a lot of practice solving subtraction problems. Having good fact fluency allows your students to focus on more rigorous subtraction problems. This activity will give your students the opportunity to practice.
Cut out all activity cards. Next, match the peanut butter jars with the jelly jars after solving the subtraction problem. Then, students use the provided worksheet to continue practicing.
