A sentence can do four different jobs, and this types of sentences worksheet helps 2nd grade students learn to tell them apart. Every sentence is either a statement that tells something, a question that asks something, a command that tells someone what to do, or an exclamation that shows strong feeling. Knowing the four kinds of sentences—and the end mark each one needs—helps children read with expression and write clearly.
