How to teach Speaking and Listening
Using this Let’s Talk Classroom Speaking Activity, students participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about topics and texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups.
Being able to describe people, places, and ideas is important for your students to be clear communicators. This activity will give your students the opportunity to practice to improve their communication skills.
Use the Role Cards to determine which role each person in the group will have. Next, choose a topic or book to discuss. Then, give the students a few minutes to fulfill their role regarding the topic or book.
