How to teach KWLS
Are you teaching KWLS with your students? If your kids are learning about KWLS, this is the graphic organizer for you! This resource can be a great way to help them explore what they know, what they want to know, what they learned, and what they are still wanting to learn.
With this KWLS Graphic Organizer Worksheet, your students will use provided chart to write down pieces of information they already know about a given topic. Next, they will discuss something they want to learn about the topic. Then, your students will write information that they learned in class about the given topic. Finally, the students will use the final column of the chart to inform you what they would still like to learn.
Teaching KWLS is an important skill when learning Reading, Science, Social Studies, and beyond. Help your children to think critically about what they already know about a given topic. Next, teach them to think about what they would like to learn next. Then, they should be able to discuss what they learned. Finally, it is important for students to think about what they would still like to learn.
