How to teach Writing with Technology
Using Technology Time Centers Activity, students explore a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers.
Publishing your writing gives your students share their writing with the community. This activity gives them support as they move to the publishing stage of the writing process.
Students use the Digital Tool Activity Cards to explore different ways to write. Then, students share their writing through different types of technology.

Use this I Can Use Digital Tools Worksheet as an additional resource for your students.
Introduce this activity by students sharing their writing with a peer. Next, students share how they could include visual supports with their writing . Then, distribute the activity materials so students can begin their writing. Finally, students can share their writing through a gallery walk or other presentation. Once finished, students give feedback on their writing presentations.
