As students read, making inferences is one of the reading comprehension skill they will use the most. This activity will help your students put together their schema and facts from the text to figure out what is happening in the pictures.
Place the inference mat in front of you and select a picture card. Next, find the letter on the picture card and the three inference cards with the same letter.Then, look at the picture and read the three inferences.
