Research is easier and more fun when students work as a team. This group researching worksheet gives 3rd graders a simple plan for studying one topic together, so every child has a job, uses real books, and writes down what the group discovers. It turns a noisy group project into calm, organized teamwork.
At the top of the page, students write their group’s topic and the job they chose, such as reader, recorder, leader, time keeper, or fact checker. Next, four boxes guide the project. Students list who is in their group, name the books they used, write the facts they learned, and explain how they helped the team. Every answer comes from the student’s own group and topic, so the page works with any subject your class is studying.
