How to teach Graphing
Using this Measure and Plot Data Activity, students organize the measurements listed below into a line plot by using an X to mark the data.
Students need a lot of practice creating and analyzing line graphs. This activity gives students practice with creating and analyzing information presented on a line graph.
Place the Measurement Activity Cards face down in a pile. Choose one card at a time. Measure the item on the card, then put an X on the line plot to show how many inches the item measured. Keep drawing cards until the cards are gone.
