How to teach Speaking and Listening
Using this Discussions Preparation Activity, students prepare for a discussion by recording thoughts in the provided graphic organizer.
Discussions are an important opportunity for our students to practice speaking and listening skills. However, discussions are challenging for many of our students. This graphic organizer will help your students to prepare before a discussion so they have their thoughts ready to go!
Students read the same text. Next, they record their ideas in the graphic organizer. Then, students and their classmates discuss their ideas about the text that they read.
