An environment is everything around a living thing: the land, water, air, weather and other living things. Kids learn that plants and animals fit where they live. A polar bear's thick fur works in the Arctic, and a cactus stores water in the desert. They explore habitats, ecosystems and biomes, and they learn how people change environments with pollution, farming and conservation. The click moment is when kids see that changing one part, like the water, can affect every animal living there.
